I received my B.A. degree in psychology and obtained a M.S. degree in the field of school counseling. I am currently working as an elementary school counselor and have been for the past four years. My previous experience includes working at an elementary school and alternative high school in San Diego. This included providing academic, career, and personal counseling to students individually and within groups.

I believe the elementary years are critical to providing fundamental skills to assist students in developing his or her social and academic confidence. In order to provide effective counseling, I learned that establishing rapport with students was critical to the counseling relationship. I am an advocate for these kids and I feel that is the greatest gift I could ever give.

In my spare time I enjoy writing, listening to classic music, and spending time outdoors. Family is my #1 priority and that has made my life full of love, peace and happiness.
